This 90-minute webinar will focus on the topic of using mindfulness practices to care for the self during the often-chaotic holiday season. We will explore various mindfulness techniques together as a means to find our "center" and maintain the joy that is possible and probable in our line of work. This webinar will be interactive and engaging, so bring an open mind and prepare to take care of yourself!
Participants will be able to:
-Develop a greater understating of self care, specifically around the stressors that may come up in the holiday season for child life specialists
-Build a familiarity with various forms of mindfulness practices that can be used throughout the holiday season to stay in touch with your center and find joy even amongst the chaos
-Experience with three forms of mindfulness techniques in real time that will prepare you to stay present to caring for oneself in the child life field in the holiday season
